* Kempul produces a high pitch than Gong Ageng* - Different sizes of Kempul produce different pitches. ¬† - The smaller size produces the higher pitch, and the larger produces the lower pitch. * Gong Ageng ì the largest hanging gong, the lowest pitch in the family* - Also the most important and respected item as its believed to be the Spiritedù of Gambalan. -

Kethuk & Kemyang
- Always placed next to Kenong in a set - Kenong is similar in shape to the Hanging Gongù, but with flat surface from knob to the edge - Kemyang in turn looks like a small Kenong - Pitch of Kemyang is higher than Kethuk - Largest size of Kemyang is abt 24cm in diameter while Kethuk is abt 26.5cm -
