The Big Chromatic

When it came on the market in 1938, the 64 Chromonica was the first chromatic to boast a range of over four octaves. Thanks to the additional bottom octave, it took the tonal range of the harmonica into registers where it had never before been heard, as well as brought many pieces from the classical repertoire within the reach of the instrument. It also enabled the eerie, deep-toned growl and full chords of amplified chromatic harp which swiftly became an integral part of the blues tradition, a sound which lives on to this day. It defined the industry standard for professional quality 4 octave chromatics and has gone on to inspire generations of players in blues, soul, jazz and classical music. Whether you play alone or in a band, if youôre looking for a real workhorse 64 chromatic itôs still your best bet.

"Bought a very beautiful pair of Uebel Zenit clarinets from Accent. Yue Se is a clarinetist himself and extremely knowledgeable, provided many excellent recommendations. Words can’t do enough justice to how beautiful the clarinets are!"

Beebe C.

"The shop provides a large range of varieties. We spent very pleasant two hours in it and bought a Yamaha YSL-882OII that is out of stock everywhere in Singapore, a beautiful saxophone and other accessories that we needed. Great thanks to the shop owner who patiently allowed us to try so that we could take our time to make decisions. Highly recommended!"
