Dragonfly Percussion Medium Suspended Cymbal Mallet – Rattan – SC1R

This pair of medium suspended cymbal mallets is designed for single notes at all dynamics, although it is also excellent for rolls. It has a heavy rubber-covered plastic core on a 13.75″ rattan handle. Because of its weight, this sticks gets the whole spectrum of overtones ringing with very little effort and velocity. The tight cloth wrap gives it excellent projection and articulation without sounding harsh in any way. These characteristics allow for dynamically appropriate notes that are still audible (think Mahler 4 and La Mer).

Dragonfly Percussion Soft Suspended Cymbal Mallet – Rattan – SC3R

The roller is softer and lighter than the hard and general sticks. It rolls smoothly and easily at all dynamics on a wide range of cymbals. This stick can also be used for single notes, but has a much rounder attack than the other models. Available on a .535″ hickory handle, 13.75″ long, or on rattan.
