1″ CLEAR (1C)
1″clear ball on 1/8″ fiberglass handle. Clean, clear and pretty sounding. Perfect for delicate passages in La Mer, Glazunow Violin Concerto and Sleeping Beauty, etc.
1″ BLACK “CELESTE” (CEL)
1ù black phenolic ball with a small brass insert covered in a thin layer of rubber. This mallet turns your glock into a celeste. It is super warm with far less tickù than typical plastic and brass sticks, yet still has adequate clarity and projection for use in the orchestra. Ideal for Forest Murmers, La Mer, Don Juan, and the like
5/8″ BRASS (58B)
This stick functions in much the same way as your general- purpose brass stick on rattan, but with the resilience and delicacy of a thin fiberglass handle. It has excellent projection but with reduced contact sound and frame noise. Great for lots of general playing where a brilliant brass sound is required.
7/8″ ALUMINUM (78A)
Great for a wide range of playing. Big, bright sound with minimal contact and case noise and a slightly more transparent character than a brass mallet. Ideal for the Sorcererôs waterfallù excerpt, Russian Easter and the like.
1″ BLACK (1B)
The 1ù black is the same as the Celeste stick, but without the rubber covering. The 1ù phenolic core with a small brass insert produces a clean, clear sound, with a slightly brighter sound with more body than the 1ù clear. Perfect for excerpts in Sorcerers or any passage requiring a lighter, clearer sound than your general rattan bell mallet.
